By extension, just as Android customers are hosing the Android handset/software makers? Their customers are killing them.

With such a massive difference in worldwide market share but such a tiny share of profits outside of Samsung? Shouldn't the Android appstore also be many, many, multiple times larger than the iOS one? Piracy aside, are Android users so less inclined to spend the money for content given their much greater numbers? It is almost like Android is capturing the "masses" at the bottom end of the market/economic ladder.

It is why the whole "market share" comparison thing is an amusing and interesting perspective to me. The concept is kinda goofy as well, it's not like Android is a monolithic unified pillar - the fact that it isn't is one of the more compelling things of Android for me.
