It was all over twitter and facebook last night, but I didn't watch the live stream.

From the sounds of things it was a massive success in getting the Green Party faithful revved up. Something like 500 tickets were sold.

My personal take after seeing the gushing about it online, was that it was a bit too "green" for my liking. I know that sounds stupid, but the one thing about Turner's campaign so far that I've really appreciated is sharp the departure away from the stereotypical notion of The Green party and a more focused approach on Turner as a standalone candidate. They've done a great job of steering the message to a more moderate sustainable approach. Pulling out Jay Ingram and David Suzuki is a great strategy to get hardcore green supporters fired up, but if you're working on pulling Red Tories away from Crockatt, I'm not sure it's the best strategy.

That being said, from a campaign standpoint it was a success, we'll see if it spills out as an attack from the CPC.
