Guys like what? Horak? Reinhart? Those aren't players playing the same role as Aliu in the AHL nor will they be competing with Aliu for the same role in the NHL. I thought you knew enough about hockey to differentiate things like that?
Love how you are more concerned about him not playing a couple games in the AHL playoffs VS how good he actually looked in the NHL for a couple of games. It makes your priority, bias, etc pretty obvious. You say you want players better than Aliu and then use the depth we had as an argument against him. If you were more of a fan you'd be hoping for him to mature and turn into a really great grinder. Obviously you don't like him, don't wish him the best or don't want certain Flames prospects to turn out. Everyone else can see it but you I guess.
