The New Westminster, BC native ran for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries, leading the Stamps to a 39-15 win over the Eskimos. In the second quarter, Cornish took a direct snap 73 yards to the endzone, surpassing the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the first time in his career.
He also became just the eighth Canadian to achieve the said feat.
