Geekbench is a pretty thorough benchmark, and more then 1 result is taken. It's pretty clear that the devices are pretty square power wise.

My argument is to let the experts do the benchmarks. Let them analyze the results with their explanations. Not some random guy running a benchmark test on his phone with no notes or comments of the testing environment.
I'm not sure if ios can run multiple programs at the same time yet but if it does, than a Quad core can definitely beat a dual core in speed. Thats probably more real world than any geekbenchmark.
