Do you guys even realize what you are doing and posting? Unless I missed something, Badger simply does not think the treatment should be covered since so many other things are not covered, in particular for someone in jail for murder. According to other people as well, the procedures are not an essential service. We don't have dental care in Alberta, but I think the procedure is available here as well. The government does not pay for my medication either, even though we have universal healthcare. If someone cannot afford healthy food, that is not covered. Of all the things not covered, it is actually odd to many of us that some specific items are covered.
This certainly is debatable matter, let's leave the name calling out. It makes you look dumb.
I don't recall anyone in the thread condemning transsexual people and if they did I am pretty sure there is no tolerance for that. Disagreeing on how surgery is paid for does not make someone a bigot. In fact, the judge ruled over the state which had earlier said the surgery should not be covered, so is everyone else a bigot?
