I'd rather see it as something that stands on it's own. I'd hate to see something amazing be ruined by a horrible sequel *cough*Spider-man 3/X-men 3/Wolverine Origins*cough* But yes, Bane was really awesome in the movie. It totally sucks that he just ends up being Talia's dog. Bane is an intelligent villain so it wasn't necessary to have another person pulling the strings. I get why they did it though.
