I don't buy it. Why is he considered such a long, 5-year term project if he's a guaranteed top 5 pick next year? That would still put him four years away from the NHL after next year's draft - who's the last top 5 pick they said that about?

There's lots of first rounds who were a month or less away from being in next year's draft. The whole age thing is way overblown.
