Ok, lets look from 2000-2008 to get perspective
Out of the 270 players chosen, 69 of them have been what we would consider impact players. That's a 25% chance of getting a solid NHL'er in the second round.
That Byron has already played in the show is a really good sign compared to the fate of a lot of second round picks.
