I think it's awesome that there was such a high demand for this event. Hopefully it keeps growing. Calgary needs more cultural events than just the Stampede.
I think organizers will use this year as a learning experience and it will be better organized in the future.

What would be really cool is if the Calgary Expo grew to the size of SDCC. I know it will never happen for many reasons, but if the Calgary one got to be the SDCC of Canada, I could deal with that.
When I say SDCC, I mean like Game of Thrones panels, Avengers panels, brand new stuff and revealings, stuff we would never get.
