So Lakers essentially trades two first round draft picks and Fisher for Sessions, Hill and Eyenga? Guess they also got rid of that Walton albatross contract, but still, that's a lot to give up for a mediocre return.

I think Washington made a great trade in getting Nene for McGee and Turiaf. Nene's the sort of experienced guy that can really anchor that team and help them out long-term. McGee's rumoured to want 14.5 million on his next contract... I'd much rather have Nene at 13.

Orlando's probably the big winner today, getting at least a year more to try to put a winner around Howard.

Portland's day is about what you'd expect from a team with no real GM, a hyperemotional owner, just coming off an embarrassing 40 point loss... Fire the coach, trade two starters for a mixed bag of projects and injured players. Flynn's a solid pickup for them, but now they've got even more of a glut at PG/SG. We'll see how it shakes out, but they don't look better now than they did yesterday, unless these moves have miraculously healed all their locker-room problems.
-edit: guess Flynn has a team option for next year. But after today, Portland has less than $25 million committed for next year. They'll be after every big free agent out there. And they've had to waive Greg Oden to make room on their roster. Too bad for him to leave Portland that way, but I'm sure someone else will pick him up if he's willing to continue rehabbing.

Also like Indiana picking up Barbosa. Great guy to have for a playoff run.
