I feel like I have played this game enough now to actually comment on it in a negative and spiteful fashion that you are all used to when it comes to video games.

Space bar doing everything is annoying as all hell. Stand next to a wall getting shot at, press space... dive away from the wall. Wanna dive away from enemy fire and then dash for cover? Press space and go into cover on the wall you are standing next to instead!

Why are the Reapers the Borg circa ST: Voyager? First two games, they're a threat with just one of them being in close proximity to you. Sovereign and Harbinger are BMFs and you can't touch em without a #### ton of planning and prep! This game? #### it, lets go to Reaper space and start pinging our sonar till they come, put on some Benny Hill music and make em chase us around the local sun! Cause that 150 units of fuel and some doodad some guy on the Citadel wanted is worth pissing off not one reaper, but three or four! I know its a war, and they're trying to get every ounce they can, but an artifact is worth this? Really? And why am I even scared of the Reapers if they move slower than molasses uphill?

Ally AI: Y U NO STAY IN COVER!? I direct 'em where I want 'em. They stay for 30 seconds and then hop out and get shot up. Yay!

Vancouver gets destroyed. #### you, Edmonton.

With all that being said, this game is getting a lot of flack from the fan boy community. Go on Metacritic and Gamefaqs and this game is getting downvoted badly. 0s across the board from angry kids who are upset that they don't get to play Mass Effect 1 again, or that X died and Y wasn't a playable character. There is also a healthy amount of hate simply because this is an EA game. I think EA needs to stop the Day 1 DLC crap. It bugs me, but I am giving Bioware the benefit of the doubt, since they say it was started after the core game development finished, they just happened to get it done on time for release. It may be in their best interest start delaying this stuff a month or so, even if it is done.

This game is a solid 8 - 8.5 out of 10. All hate aside, they improved the weapon selection and customization, re-added some of the RPG elements. There are some complaints about decisions from previous games not making much of a difference but I can give a solid example of that not being the case.

Spoiler!

The multiplayer has a balance issue, but since it's team work based it doesn't bug me much. So I'll never kill as much as a biotic with certain skills, oh well. Gimme the readiness % and I'll be on my way. It does direly need a chat program though. Not everyone plays with sound on and not everyone has a mic. I don't know how many times I've stared dumbfounded as an ally runs into a kill-zone to try and get a melee kill only to get shredded by cross fire. Even if my warnings wouldn't stop them, I'd like the ability to rage at them for being dumb.
