I know Fay and Fry fairly well, the friends quoted in that article. All this really got to me today, far more than I expected it to. I don't know how many of us have to say that this came out of nowhere for it to be believed. I am NOT trying to defend his final actions as they are indeed as villainous as could possibly be, but just seeing 'experts' on the news talk about how his friends had failed him and what not, very frustrating.
