I don't have a tablet yet, but I am heading to the US on vacation next week and was going to pick up a Kindle Fire, but if it won't "work" (as in using the Amazon ecosystem) in Canada, is there any point?
EDIT: Can you even access the Amazon AppStore on in from Canada?
