I'll take a play on this. One side will say we should get picked up and if you can afford a car suck it up, why should you have a car and not me ra ra ra.
The other will say my high taxes should cover the parking at a hospital.
I say; when will people realize that no matter what it is these days it costs money, and like it or not someone is paying sooner or later. A little bit of user pay is healthy and it makes people more conscious that things aren't free.
I'm curious what the ratio of parking cost to costs incurred in the health care portion of a hospital visit are. Pretty sure the $4 or $20 for that matter is a piss in the ocean.
