He has made a mistake on this issue. No one is perfect and in the end if the pluses are more than the minuses then people will vote for him.
Him berating Gorde Lowe and Dru Farrell for me is easily more important to me than him not kicking some homeless b!tchers quick enough out of a Park that most Calgarians only visit in summer.
