I'm in need of a new digital point and shoot camera. I currently have a Sanyo x1200 that I bought for around 150$ about a year and a half ago, and it is horrible. About 50% of the pictures I take with it are out of focus, and if it's in a dark setting, there is no chance of a picture turning out well.

I'm not much of a photographer at all, so not looking to spend very much, I just need something that will give me focused pictures, and fit in my pocket. Don't need a huge zoom or anything like that. Any recommendations? Is it common in ~150$ camera's for the focus to be as brutal as I speak of, or did I get unlucky with my camera selection?
