I'd go from three to the end, myself.
Gambit is one of the best episodes of any Star Trek series, save for the anticlimactic ending. And even then, that ending set up the perfect plot device to explain why every alien everywhere is humanoid.
The Pegasus and
Lower Decks were also amazing season seven episodes - both of which broke the "Happy, friendly Federation where everything turns out right in the end" mold. And season six's
Timescape I love just for this scene:
