You were cancelling an order, not breaking up with the baker. If no one at the bakery answers the phone, then there is nothing wrong with leaving a voicemail. That's why businesses have phones and voicemail. Its not the OP'ers fault if the bakery was busy or understaffed.
The baker is just being a dbag harrassing you like that.
