Thanks, I clicked on the link before but must've missed it. So just over $5M/yr for 1st over-all pick, still a little high but definitely reasonable. About time they fixed that.
I'm sure the players didn't have a tough time voting it through either, as less money spent on rookies leaves more money for re-signing vets. I remember a few years ago when LJ was still a machine in KC, him complaining because they couldn't afford to re-sign him at the time when he was the best RB in the league because they spent so much on whoever their top 5 pick was that year. Definition of a broken system.
