Batman is on the run leading off from last movie, since now the police "hunt" him. He is still helping out Gordon, so he is run down and probably getting PO'ed with the whole crime fighting scene (some internal conflict for Batman). Instert Catwoman as Batmans new love interest since Rachel is dead, Bruce wants to give up Batman knowing that he lost Rachel because he was Batman...Doesn't know she is Catwoman. Bain comes around, kicking ass and taking names...Batman and Bain fight early on and Batman gets his back broken.

Bain starts taking over the city, hurts Gordon somehow in the process (Gordon in hospital). Catwoman and Bain have it out trying to be the #1 criminal in the City while Batman is laid up. Batman rehabs, Gordon pleads his case about the City needing him...Batman comes back because he finds out about Catwoman and is betrayed by her. Defeats Bain...Everyone is happy again.

That is the quick and dirty...There you have the whole rise and fall of Batman everyone is wondering about, and that's how Catwoman is worked in. But I'm not a director/writer, so who knows.

Question in white

I like it, but it seems to me that Nolan likes his characters a little more gritty. I would expect Catwoman to be a herpes infected, slightly insane stripper at some secondary club in the industrial area of Gotham.

She's angry because some guy took her into the champagne room and robbed her at knife point cutting her cheek and giving her a scar.

Anyways, unless its not a truly broken back I don't see how he can rehab it, and I think that there isn't enough time in the movie for Batman to find a replacement for batman give him a backstory and train him.

I know that Batman gets a broken back in the comics, but it wasn't an instant replacement for Batman was it?

Hey, have we seen Commissioner Gordon's daughter yet, or does his son get a sex change operation in order to become Batgirl?
