Add in his on-going injury issues and I'd be surprised if the Flames bother to offer him anything more than an AHL contract this year. I remember when Feaster was asked about Pelech at some point during the season and he sounded less than impressed.

From people I've spoken with, they LOVE him as a team guy. But he RARELY completes a full AHL season and, in part due to his injuries, he hasn't seen the kind of progression that they would expect from someone who's played 4 AHL seasons. (That's partly because he's only played 1.75 AHL seasons, but that's beside the point).
