We tried everything to the point of almost a new dishwasher. Eventually we found something called Lemi Shine at Canadian Tire. 1 wash with this stuff cleaned everything. Now we add about 1/4 of that to 3/4 soap and everything is good.

Stuff is gold. One little container costs $4 and lasts us about a month.

Edit - guess we didn't try glisten.
