None, except for the fact that the CoG is now $25 million in the hole on the Coyotes, which could lead them down Bouw's suggested path of fighting harder to keep the team.
The $25 million was guaranteed before last year to satisfy a league demand. Theoretically, if the city didn't agree to cover losses, the league would have relocated the team prior to this season. It was a separate deal to the Hulsizer purchase, though Hulsizer has offered to pay the city back if the sale should go through.
