The Tea party formed when Bush first started the bailouts and grew in strength as Obama began spending like no one before him. About the only thing they all believe in is a limited Federal government with the limited taxes that should go with it. If you look at various Tea party canadates that were elected this last term they have only one think in common: the desire to cut spending.
Obama deserves the distrust he recieves. He is the worst President America has ever seen. They will be lucky to survive him.

On the subject of debt the republicans are the worse offendors and have been since Nixon, and while you might disagree with Obama's bailout spending it is no more than an extension of Bush's policy responce to the crash and so unavoidable, at least Obama required the auto makers to repay their loans or took the companies over, unlike Bush and the banks.
You're really argueing that Obama is the worst US president because he couldn't clean Bush's mess up quickly enough, hardly a sound observation.
