so in a situation where a persons life is in jeopardy, saving his or her life comes 2nd to providing testimony when/if a trial takes place?
i guess i'd disagree.
edit: im not saying this guys life was in danger, again, trying to establish if a line exists with anyone.

police are here to serve and protect the law abiding citizens of the land. not to go on power trips and and harass people. this particular cop had a history and decided to single out the one guy cuz he looked different. and he was leaving when tough guy decided to escalate the situation.
