Pantagonia is up on my list of top places I want to go, but I want to get some more mountaineering experience and get stronger, so I can do some badass stuff there.

We're not hikers in the sense that you'll find us out hiking in Kananaskis every weekend just to be outdoors. But I still enjoy hiking if it means being rewarded with some sort of incredible view that I've never seen before.
There's plenty of hardcore mountaineering you could do down in Patagonia that's for sure. But even for anyone that just wants to see some of the most spectacular beauty on earth and is reasonably fit, there's plenty to enjoy.
Doing the famous W circuit of Torres del Paine was our original goal, but there wasn't enough time to fit it in with all the other awesome things that are down in Argentina.
Definitely check out the town of El Chalten while it's still relatively unspoiled and rustic. I could see it becoming Banff-like any day. In 2009 the road to it was unpaved, would be nice to see it stay that way.
