You sorta made my point for me there. It's military is there to protect the US. Libya is not a threat to the US, Libya is a threat to Libya.
I understand that Khadafi's actions are reprehensible but this is a pie whose finger the US really doesn't need to be in.
America doesn't need to be involved in this, unless there's really worry that a Euro coalition can't get the job done, which I doubt.
Either that or there's a veiled ulterior motive to let the multinationals sweep in after the oil when it's all said and done.
