I avoid ground floor apartments because due to the higher density of the immediate area, you tend to have people walking by your window all the time. I don't like that. Of course that's not ALL ground floor apartments, and also, there's this amazing new invention called blinds, but it still just lacks the privacy I prefer. There's just people around all the time. Especially if the apartment faces the parking lot. Sitting out on the patio having a smoke with a buddy and a car parks, feels like you're loitering in a 7/11 parking lot.
