Anyways, like I said I've never had one of these things before, so this is all rather new to me. I charged it for a little while then put a song on it just to give it a little test. Depending on the brand I can help you. When you are doing the setup of your MP3 player, in the downloading software there should be an option to control what quality you want the mp3s to be.
