This loss is all on Chris Jones. How many times can you get burnt by heavy blitzes and man coverage and not make an adjustment? That's the only offense the Riders had in the 1st half and the Stamps didn't change a single thing in the second half. The Riders never proved they could move the ball effectively downfield with longer drives, but Calgary never forced them too with ridiculous playcalling.

TSN was hyping up Durant huge and he definitely did have a great game, but it's not as if he was ridiculously accurate with the deep ball all game. He probably had just as many deep overthrows as the Riders had big plays. The problem is that when the Stamps kept going with the blitz and leaving the deep ball unprotected, completing half those deep balls ends up being 6 or so big plays.

The offense did exactly what it's supposed to, in spite of the O-Line playing their worst game of the year. No turnovers, 427 yards of offense, and 30 points (7 came off the pick-six). That should be enough to win you almost every game.

The funny thing is that the Stamps probably win that game if the Stamps make a smart playcall on 1st and goal from the 10. The screen pass to the RB should've been the call to get them inside the 5 and then you use the advantage of going 2nd in OT to get two cracks at the endzone from there.
