I think the reason people speak out more about animal abuse is that crimes like this are so horrific, we can't even comprehend them. We don't want to discuss it because we don't want to think about it at all. We can personalize things like this happening to us and we don't want to. It doesn't lessen the horror we feel at hearing about things like this though. It just means we have a hard time putting into words how disgusted we are by it. We cannot believe that one human could do this to another. And to have bystanders?! I sincerely hope that none of the bystanders were girls allowing another girl to be raped. That is just... there are no words. One could say that they have no idea what it's like, but it's not hard to imagine how, what may be this girl's first sexual experience being raped in front of a crowd affects her mentally.

This is bullying at it's worst. It's bullying that's so bad, it's criminal. But think about it; how and why would others just watch? Because it's funny? Yeah.

I just can't even imagine. I sincerely hope the young woman can rise up above this.
