I agree I wish they would have traded him to Hamilton or Toronto. I like Newman but I had a problem with his reasoning for his retirement. That was not a personal issue just plain childish attitude. I don't think what kind of job you have. If you quit on your job because you just want to hang around with your buddies is unacceptable. Huf actually gave him a favour in trading him to his hometown.
Oh well I guess like some other posters says, at least we got something for him. I just hope he doesn't play in BC the way he did here in Calgary.
