The issue of ladies nights is funny and ridiculous. I hate it when people choose something so petty and trivial and make a big deal out of it.

The idea of the pendulum swinging the other way and now working against men is an interesting one.

Entirely anecdotal on my part, but as someone who has spent far too long in university...there does seem to be a significant difference in gender makeup throughout the campus. The bias in education I think is a real one, and you don't really ever hear much about it.

Also, if anyone here has ever thought about taking the gender sociology course offered at U of C and is male, I would ask you to rethink. That was the most anti-male class I have ever had and was amateurishly instructed. Either a real agenda was at play when I took this course many years ago, or some interesting people congregate for this course to ream out their male counterparts.
