Fanboy? Feel free to change iPhone to ANY other smartphone on the market and the post still applies. If the comparison is to other Blackberries, then sure it's an improvement. I dunno about you, but if I was going out to buy a smartphone today, I'm not going to say, "Even though it's terrible, I'm buying this Blackberry because it's an improvement over past Blackberries." No... what normal people do is look at the phones available from all makers and choose the best one.
What's unacceptable is that RIM is a leading smartphone manufacturer but have just released a phone that is 2 years behind the curve.
