Great suggestion! My wife actually does like the Midtown but I didn't propose there. My buddy and I used to be regular enough customers that the wait staff would just pour our draft and meet us at the table with it as we came in. They would also just confirm our food order as they already knew what we wanted (steak and fries).

Yes, they "merged" with Boomers (across from the Prince George Hotel) and it's the Midtown during the day and Boomers (DJ, dancing etc) during the night.

Yes it does, no more walking through the kitchen to reach the facilities for the ladies. That was part of the old Midtown's charm, it used to be a Men's only club and they never built a woman's washroom. Once women were allowed in (70's???) they had to fit one in wherever they could - "right through the kitchen" was born.
