What a season finale. That was about as good as a season finale gets (Dexter's season 4 was brilliant as well). The epic bloodbath of Spartacus and the rest of the guys killing everyone, Varo's wife slaughtering the child, Krixus stabbing Lucretia in the womb, OH BABY!
Edit: Wow, just reading up on Andy Whitfield and it seems he has finished his cancer treatments and is now cancer free! HAZAA!! Clean bill of health. 
From further reading it appears he'll be back on set in October, but they are still presuming with the prequel, so Season 2 will have a super late 2011 start I'd imagine. |
I don't think Lucretia is dead. The last shot of her shows that she is still alive. Also if her womb is the only thing stabbed then it can be debated that nothing life threatening happened to her, just her baby. The next season she will be one of the main antagonists driven by the death of her husband, child and Krixus stabbing her and
then leaving her. It will be a bloody mess next year!
Glad to see Andy is healthy.
