No aftermarket paint job is going to be factory quality.
If you had a choice between a car with zero claims history, and one that has had all the body panels replaced or refinished (likely with non-OEM parts), and a $10,000 claim that must be declared (at least in BC, I would guess its the same in AB), which one would you take?
It will hurt the resale, no question about it.
