Every station in the city did that for a long time in reaction to Safeway introducing the idea of "3.5 cents off". They finally stopped last year.
Actually, for a long time, the Petro-Canada in Monterey Park was the only one I knew of that actually posted their price to match everyone else's pump price, and still gave the 3.5 cents on top of that with your Petro-Points card.
Telus and the Esso station on Macleod Trail south of Glenmore are my only active boycotts.
If you attempt to steal money from me and/or don't provide the services I paid for, you won't ever get my business again. With the new Co-Op gas station opening where the Future Shop used to be, I hope that Esso goes bankrupt and all of their crappy, lazy, unhelpful employees lose their jobs and are unable to ever get a job anywhere else, ever.
