Tinting does strenghten the window, but a person who is trying to break it will not have any problem breaking it.

So you are saying if you got into an accident you would rather have an sheet of shattered glass pieces held together with a plastic film flying into your face rather than a few tiny pieces of glass, most of which would land harmlessly on your floor, clothing and seats?
If anything, I would think the bigger sheet would be more dangerous, but thats just me.
As for tinting if you say it is just as safe as having tinting or no tinting you are either <removed> or just trying to justify the tint you have.
