The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday that three-time Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis has signed a five-year contract extension through 2016, and a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora that the deal includes $29 million guaranteed and is worth a maximum of $50 million.
