The comments from the ESPN guys were hilarious. Young said " i dont know if i have ever seen a player that looks more like a Green Bay packer than this guy" and then someone else chimed in with "he looks like he is ready to go curling". I laughed. Gotta remember that Kirk Ferentz is a guy that produces NFL ready O-liners year after year. He was not only a safe pick, but a guy that will play no doubt..

I think initially I was upset because the flashy pick in Wilson was there to be made, rather then the vanilla OT pick. I also had concerns with why he was falling.
I'm now okay with it, when i realized that after the 49'ers picking at 11/17 there was no one between them and the Pack that really craved an OT more than some other position. We got the 4th best OT in the draft, valued at 10-15, at 23. Also, Bulaga's ability to play basically any line position gives the Pack a lot of flexibility. That was a major issue last year when Clifton went out with his ankle injury, the amount of moving around to replace one guy was crazy.
While Wilson is solid, the depth for better than average CB's in the draft is pretty good (or so I hear), I look for TT to hedge his bets on Lee either in the 2nd or the 3rd. He really doesn't need a stud CB if Harris returns to form, just some depth with the potential to be solid.
An OLB would be the other pick I think he makes. With Kindle available, I wonder if TT trades up to get him.
