I understand why the war was started, I understand Canada's involvement in it. I also understand why Harper is pulling out our troops, when there seems to be diminishing returns from our continued military prescense there.

Afghanistan is a backwards country based on western standards sure. But do you think the people there think they're backwards?
Why not ask why NATO is in Afghanistan? It's kind of stupid to call a country savage when they are the ones being invaded for a reason no one seems to know.
