Bah... I think this is all a ploy. Israel stirs up a hornets nest. Then the USA comes into to put Israel in its place. It makes the USA look like an objective mediator.

In reality, these are just plans to build houses several years down the road. No actual construction has been done. Israel can now "stop the plans". If these peace talks fail, construction goes ahead in a few years anyway.

I think it's painfully obvious what is going here and the media is so predictably anti-Israel that it is easily manipulated.
