I wouldn't say I have one place in mind, but after having lived in few different parts of the world now I am getting a better and better idea of what things I want that place to have.

I need sunshine. Lots of it. I also need a lot of nature, but I want to be close enough to a major international metropolis that it is accessible for weekends and short trips. I'd like to be somewhere that is warm year round and has lots of outdoor activities. Somewhere on good travel routes and which has many celebrations throughout the year. I also want it to be a place where people tend to be very outgoing and like to have a good time. I also want it to be clean. That's definitely important.

I've been looking at jobs in Pattaya to go live in Thailand after my current contract finishes. I really like Asia, but I need to get out of the north and back to somewhere sunny, warm and fun. I like Bangkok as a big city, and that wouldn't be too far away from Pattaya.
