I don't get the impression that anyone is actually "disgusted" by it.
As for the "if it was your daughter...", we're not talking about our daughter, we're talking about someone else's daughter. Big difference.
I don't have kids myself, but hypothetically, if my hypothetical daughter was in this situation, I know I wouldn't like it, because clearly the guy is greasy and should be hanging out with women his own age.
But if it was me at 33 (when I get there in about 15 years) going with a 19 year old then it's perfectly fine, because I'm a nice guy -- a gentleman with only the noblest intentions, and her dad need not worry at all. He'll see it that way too, I'm sure of it.
