Yea it needs to recognize an external memory stick in order to work. (At least I thought so, I still haven't got it to work so maybe not.)

It could be that your TV does not accept the HDMI cord, though I have never heard of this before. Try using component cords and see if they work.

Hmmmm.. that article might be the reason. Tho the HDMI cord is the same brand as the TV (Dynex)
I thought it would be ok. I'm going to try it the other two outputs (right now it's in HDMI2, this tv has 3)

The Hangover and Inglorious Basterds both won't work. Please tell me this blu-ray doesn't need to be connected to the internet. Because it can.
