It all started with Ellen coming out of the closet way back when. Like we couldn't tell she was making out with the bearded clam anyways! Then that nudist Richard guy on the original Survivor....which I quit watching after the first season by the way. Recently it was big news that Brian Burkes kid was gay.....

You mean you didn't hear all the hoopla about Adam Lambert making out with a dude on stage at the Amercian Music Awards? I don't watch American Idol but that is where he came from. Anyways after that a bunch of his appearances at other shows were cancelled, and there was "outrage" about the "discrimination".....gay characters have even appeared in my favourite show Two and a Half Men! The one place I thought was free of gay propaganda.....it seems I just can't get away from it.......
Adam Lambert also made out with a woman on stage.... I note that this doesn't strike you as "sensationalizing heterosexuality." Effectively, this is a double standard--heterosexuals can be open about their sexual preference, homosexuals cannot. Resisting that double standard is not "sensationalizing" anything, it's just standing up for what's right in a free society.

Seems to me the only one who's creating "hoopla" about homosexuality is you. Maybe you secretly wish that it wasn't gay culture that was being jammed down your throat.

In all seriousness, you're free to hold those attitudes. Just don't pretend that they aren't homophobic. If you think gay people are fine as long as they never act gay in public... you're a homophobe. Simple as that.
