Worked seismic in the arctic. My first night, I couldn't understand why the pb&j trays were picked clean, and the delicious sandwich trays were still full (the cooks put out trays of sandwiches, and we packed our own lunches).
I loaded up on the good sandwiches, and went to work.
The only place to store your lunch was under the seat in the Nodwell. Right by the heater. Let's just say that I learned two things that night:
1. never bring a sandwich with tomatos or mayo
2. sh*tting outside in minus 50 sucks balls
