Here in Tokyo gas is now at 126 yen a litre - about 1.40~1.45 per litre. Funny thing is, before this oil price surge gas was around 105~110 yen a litre. For whatever reason it just sat around that price for ages and just recently (5-6 months ago) started to move up. Must have been some surplus purchasing in Japan for a while is my only guess, or the companies in NA are fataing around with prices.
Not that I'm a conspiracy theorist or anything...
